By the way, I played my Strat through the AC30 with a humming trem and reverb. That's it. Just crunchy guitar chords. At the end of the song I'm playing a fuzz lick using a Rat - thanks to Greg Davis for lending this great pedal.
I'm not a band, I'm not a solo artist. But I can support both, best with electric guitars. My name is Karl and I love lulling, atmospheric guitars in music.

modern sounds in old churches
Last weekend I had so much fun playing with All Around at the old church of Auhausen. What a great moment to feel the sounds flying around your ears. The sound was a bit like in a cave, very special but so atmospheric.

All around Bavaria
What's next to come? I'm pretty happy to play with my friends of All Around on sunday again. We are stoked to play at the Christus-Treff youth service in Auhausen, Bavaria. What I love about the church, that it gathers Christians of different denominations. I'm looking forward to see my lutheran brothers and sisters again! God is awesome. Peace.

Last takes
We're done. Last weekend we finished the recordings for thePlessing at Janz Team Studios. We had a blessed time and worked about 15 hours each day. For me, making music and recording stuff is a beautiful work. I enjoyed it so much! Thanks especially to awesome producer Greg Davis who did a great job! You're the man.
Be stoked for what is to come. We kind of reinvented the songs. This fall thePlessing will release a pretty cool Debut EP! Here are some pics of our time in the studio. More to come.

First takes
This weekend we recorded the first rough tracks for thePlessing in Schallwerkstadt studio. Great time, great licks and great sound! So much looking forward to record the next few songs.
The setlist of the upcoming EP by thePlessing will probably be "Trees", "I know", "Every little step counts", "Thank you" and "Slow down". The first three are done now! Stoked for the rest.
This is the crew by the way. Next to thePlessing stands producer Greg Davis. Such an awesome guy!

Visiting studio and preparing for recording
As you might already know, one of the music work I do is to play the electric for my friend thePlessing. So, we played a small tour at the end of '13 and now we are getting prepared to record an EP in studio. thePlessing picked a small studio in Black Forest called Schallwerkstadt.
Recording sessions start 2nd of may. But today we already visited the place where we plug in our guitars and drums to get things on tape.
